We serve at-risk black and indigenous youth and young adults by providing them with fresh new resources and opportunities. Our programs and services include outreach, mentoring and support in the following areas:
-
Build a strong foundation.
We provide aid with housing, food, childcare, and mental health.
-
Grown and learn.
We provide opportunities for college and career readiness such as professional development workshops, resume building, scholarship opportunities and employment aid. We work heavily in supporting families with violence intervention programs along with academic interventions.
-
Excel and dream big.
Our goal is to support families holistically by hosting back-to-school events, holiday/giving tree events, sports camps/clinics and summer camps. We also have services for veteran and senior support, SEL/behavioral support, positive behavioral interventions and support (PBIS), and extended learning opportunities (ELO) outside the classroom. These consist of service learning projects, youth-led clubs with initiatives, educational field trips, enrichment activities, and life skills workshops that include financial literacy allowing participants to be fully equipped to succeed.
